God's Purpose...Peace and Life

God loves you and wants you to know Him so He can fill you with peace and give you real life.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 (NKJ)

Jesus said "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10 (NKJ)

Our Problem...Seperation from God

God created us in His own image so we can know Him personnally and have a joy filled life. But that relation is not automatic - He gave us a will  and a freedom to choose. Since the beginning of time we have chosen to disobey Him and go our own way - the result is seperation for God. We are all sinners.

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23 (NIV)

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 (NKJ)

"Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned." Romans 5:12 (NKJ)

Condemned in Adam we can be redeemed in Christ.

God's Remedy...The Cross

Jesus Christ paid for all our sins and He is the only way to God. Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave, paying the penalty of all our sins. He built the only bridge to God.

"For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 (NKJ)

"But God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 (NIV)

Our Response - Give ourself to God

We must trust Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and obey Him. Only through Jesus can we know God and find peace.

"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

Is there any reason you can not turn your life over to Jesus today?  You can have an intimate relation with our Lord the Creator of all things regardless of your past by taking these simple steps:

  1. Admit you are a sinner and need forgiveness
  2. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross and rose from the grave and sits at the right hand of our Lord God Almighty
  3. Through prayer confess that Jesus Christ is the only way to God and commit to live for Him the rest of your life.
