In 1982, members of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church had a vision to establish a mission church to reach people around the Lake Tyler area with a message of hope through a relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, to worship God in Spirit and Truth, to encourage and to equip people with the Word of God.
On May 4, 1985 a portable building was moved to the current location. On May 5, 1985 a group of charter members met in that building. Today 40 years later that portable building is gone, but now we have been blessed with three permanent buildings. Our buildings have changed through the years but our message and purpose has not.
